UWI Games Village

The Games Village will be located at the Rex Nettleford Hall of Residence on the UWI Mona Campus and will be home to over 500 athletes and officials. The location is adjacent the Mona Bowl; where 9 of the 10 sporting activities will take place and is nestled in the serene foothills of the famous Blue Mountains making it an ideal retreat for athletes after competitions.

Being the largest Hall of Residence; with nine clusters, 800 single rooms large open spaces in a gated community, this Hall is ideal for community life. Rex Nettleford also has a computer room with 40 computers, wifi, and a laundry room with 24 washers and 10 dryers. The hub of the Hall is the multipurpose room and the ‘Red Square’ which is ideal for both formal and informal events. The village is also a short walk away from the students’ union.
